Wendling's food show: big success!

Over 440 attendees packed the annual food show at Canaan Valley this past week. Brokers and suppliers were pleased with the turnout and interest in new items and specials and the evening entertainment from the Davisson Brothers Band added an element of energy that carried over the next day to the show. Many customers remarked it was the best show they've attended in many years and the great weather added the icing on the cake.

Wendling's unveiled their new online ordering capabilities and the booth was packed all day long with customers looking to sign up for the service. The Wendling's booth also featured products and services from our branded divisions: A. F. Wendling Meats, Supply Works non-foods and chemicals, and PierFresh seafood.

The show kicked off a strong surge in sales that reflect customers' interest in our products and services including the new Operator's Edge online resource that provides solutions for most food service business needs.
